Over time, teeth can become damaged through wear and tear, or because of injury or decay. Restorative dental care provides options to repair and restore teeth, as well as to return the gums to health. We offer a variety of procedures that are all designed to restore certain parts of your mouth and give you back your Radiant smile.

Restorative Care Procedures

  • Composite Fillings – White fillings to match tooth colour and resolve decay.
  • Endodontics – Root Canals for inflamed, or infected teeth
  • Periodontics – Gum procedures to repair and heal damaged gums and the supporting bone

Fillings are the most common restorative procedure because they help to restore both the natural function and appearance of your teeth. Our fillings are made of a durable composite material that is very similar to the enamel of your natural teeth, leaving you with teeth that look and function as if no decay had occurred.

Composite fillings can be done in a single dental appointment. Dr. Gill will administer a local anesthesia, so that you will not experience any discomfort during the procedure. Then, he will carefully remove the decayed area of the tooth and clean the area before applying the composite material to fill the cavity. The final step is to shape and polish the repaired area to match the natural tooth.

Endodontic procedures, or root canal treatment, are required when a tooth is too decayed or damaged for a simple filling. Once the root has been compromised, a root canal can resolve the infection and save the tooth.

Periodontic procedures, or gum surgery, can resolve several gum issues, from gingivitis to more serious gum and bone deterioration, which, if not treated, can lead to tooth loss. This can be prevented with early intervention and periodontic care.

At Radiant Dental, we take pride in offering our restorative dental to our clients in Surrey and the surrounding areas. Our restorative dental procedures can resolve many common tooth and gum issues, allowing you to live your life free of the discomfort and pain caused by damaged teeth, or gums.
